There is no checkout here and no payment is ever taken through this site. Everything on it is an invitation to get in touch. You send an enquiry or an offer, we reply, and any sale is agreed directly between us afterwards. A contract only exists once we have both confirmed it, not when you submit a form.

That is also why you should never act on payment details sent to you out of the blue. We will confirm bank details with you directly, and we will never email you asking you to send money to a changed account.

Stock moves. A watch shown here may be sold, reserved or withdrawn before you reach us, and prices can change. We take care to describe every watch accurately, including its condition and whether it has its box and papers. If we have made a genuine mistake in a price or a description, we will tell you before anything is agreed rather than hold you to it.

Where you buy as a consumer, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you rights that these terms cannot reduce. Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Pre-owned watches are sold as pre-owned, and their described condition is part of what satisfactory quality means for them.

Bought at a distance

If you agree the purchase without meeting us in person, you normally have 14 days from receiving the watch to change your mind, and a further 14 days to return it. Tell us in writing and we will confirm how to send it back safely and insured.

Bought in person

The 14 day cancellation right applies to distance and off-premises sales, so it does not apply when you buy in the showroom. Your rights if something is wrong with the watch are unaffected.

If something is wrong

Tell us. Within 30 days of delivery you can reject a faulty watch for a full refund. After that we will repair or replace it, and if that is not possible or does not work, you can still claim a refund.

Warranty

Where we issue a warranty it is written down and given to you, and it sits on top of your legal rights rather than replacing them.

Any valuation we give from photographs and a description is a guide, not an offer, and it depends on us seeing the watch and checking it over. If what arrives is not what was described, we will tell you and send it back at our cost rather than push you into a lower figure.

You must own the watch you are offering and be entitled to sell it. We carry out the checks a responsible dealer is expected to carry out, and we may ask for proof of identity and proof of ownership before completing a purchase.

Work is quoted after we have assessed the watch, and no work starts until you have agreed the quote. If we find something further once the watch is open we will come back to you rather than carry on and add it to the bill.

You are welcome to read and share this site. The photography, written descriptions and page copy belong to us, so please do not republish them as your own or use them to list watches elsewhere. Please do not interfere with the site, put anything malicious through its forms, or scrape it hard enough to slow it down for other people.

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will never go down or never contain a mistake, and we may change or remove any of it. Nothing on the site is advice about what a watch is worth as an investment and it should not be read that way. Nothing in this section limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us limit.

If something has gone wrong, contact us first at [email protected] and we will work to sort it out. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your own country.
