This explains what LKL Watches does with your personal information: what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
LKL Watches is the data controller for everything described here. That means we decide what gets collected and what happens to it, so we are the ones to hold to account for it.
We only collect what we need to reply to you and do what you asked. Nothing about you is sold, and nothing is shared for anyone else's marketing. We do not profile people and no decision about you is made automatically.
We only send marketing to people who have asked for it, or to customers who have bought from us and not told us to stop. Every message has a way to opt out, and opting out takes effect straight away. We write down when and where you gave permission, so we can show you it was asked for properly.
Your information stays with us and with the suppliers who run parts of the service for us. Each of them is under a contract that limits them to doing what we ask. None of them may use your information for their own ends.
We will also disclose information where the law requires it, for example to HMRC, to the police under a proper request, or to our insurers and professional advisers where there is a genuine need.
Our systems and our records are held in the UK or the European Economic Area. Where a supplier processes information outside that area, it is done under the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
You can ask us to do any of the following, free of charge, and we will answer within one month.
Write to [email protected] and tell us which of these you want. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so we do not hand your details to someone else.
Please tell us first, so we get the chance to put it right. If you are still not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. If you are in the EU, you may instead complain to the supervisory authority in the country you live in.
Cookies and similar storage have their own page, which lists exactly what is set, by whom, and for how long. Read the cookie policy.
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page. Where the change is a significant one we will say so on the site, rather than leaving you to spot it.
